The Institute (IIMT) is the home of the Tierra Solution which combats the climate and financial crisis by basing the international monetary system upon the carbon standard of a specific tonnage of CO2e per person. This carbon-based global monetary system can be linchpin of a global governance system that integrates the three pillars of sustainable communities development in the global North and South. The Tierra Solution is based on the value of monetary justice as explained in Chapter 6 of the recently published book entitled “The Tierra Solution: Resolving the climate crisis through monetary transformation.”
